This tour encompasses so many highlights from the buzz and excitement of Hong Kong to the beauty and serenity of the enchanting landscapes in Guilin and Yangshuo, along with the fascinating minority people and stunning waterfalls of Guizhou and the popular city of Chengdu with its beloved Giant Pandas.

Drive to Leshan. Take a walk along the street market before a short cruise along the river to view the magnificent Giant Buddha, hewn from the mountainside in the 8th century. This morning see the world’s beloved Giant Pandas at the Panda Research Base. Stop in People’s Park for tea. Within the main city visit the Shu Brocade Institute and Embroidery Museum. (BL)
Take a morning bulled train(4hours) to Guiyang. Upon arrival visit the Dragon Palace Cave, an extensive cave system with underground chambers which is visited by boat. Continue to Huangguoshu, and stay overnight at the Hilton Hotel. (BLD)
Morning visit to the Huangguoshu Waterfalls which stand 243ft high and up to 330ft wide. There are several viewing points for the falls, one where you can view the complete panorama of the waterfall, another offering a bird's eye view and a third offering close up views. Drive to Guiyang and stay overnight at the Kempinski Hotel. (BLD)
Drive to Kaili visiting the Textile Museum en-route. This excellent museum houses many beautiful examples of clothing. This area is rich in minority people with examples of their traditional textile skills, paper making and local markets. Stay at the Grand Metropark Hotel for 2 nights. (BLD)
Drive to Xijia and visit Matang, then continue to Chongan Town, exploring the local area. (BLD)
Take the bullet train from Duyun to Guilin(1.5hours) before heading to Longsheng and staying at the Longji Star Wish Resort for the night. (BD)
Enjoy a morning walk in the terraced countryside before driving to Guilin and the Bravo Hotel for the night. (BD)
Take the magical Li River cruise to Yangshuo and drift gently through enchanting landscapes. Browse through Yangshuo’s colourful shops and visit scenic Gaotian township. After dinner in idyllic surroundings enjoy a spectacular son et lumiere show performed on the river by a cast of 600. Stay at the Green Lotus Hotel for 2 nights. (BLD)
