Flower Appreciation
We offer several tours that include visits to the beautifully well kept gardens in China and Japan. Our Camellia Appreciation tour visits the Gardens of Wenzhoi home to over 400 species of Camellia surrounded by some of China’s loveliest rural scenery in North Guilin and Yangshuo.
Trains
Travelling by train is always popular, and we feature some of the world's finest, most scenic and most unusual train journeys. Japan's 'bullet' train features on both of our tours there, and Korea's modern equivalent on our 'South Korean Kaleidoscope' tour. You can make the historic journey aboard the Reunification Express between Hanoi and Saigon on our 'Song of Vietnam' tour, and take the overnight train from Pyongyang all the way to Beijing when you 'Unlock the Secrets of North Korea'. In New Zealand travel aboard the famous TranzAlpine and in Borneo ride aboard a beautifully restored steam locomotive. Enjoy the luxury of two Orient-Express managed trains in Peru, the Hiram Bingham and Andean Explorer, and in Ecuador take the Devil's Nose Train, the most scenic and exciting in South America, whilst in India you can ride on the Viceroy's Toy Train into Shimla and on the UNESCO-listed Himalayan Railway at Darjeeling.
Wildlife Appreciation
This selection of tours include an abundance of wildlife appreciation from the Galapagos Islands, to the richness of Borneo to experience a botanical paradise on nature walks and a visit to an orang-utan sanctuary, or to Costa Rica, a paradise for nature and nature lovers. Also the Natural Wonders of Sri Lanka to see elephants, and a new tour to India’s Kanha and Bandavgarh National Parks to spot the Royal Bengal Tiger.
