During this amazing new tour, you will not only have the opportunity to visit many of the most iconic sites and monuments in the whole world such as The Terracotta Army or Longmen Grottoes but also to participate in unique courses and learn a number of Chinese traditional activities (see the list below).
The Summer Camp activities include:
Cultural courses: knitting art, Chinese traditional dress displaying, red paper cutting, Chinese calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, floriculture, kites making, Beijing Opera facial makeup and masks, Chinese tea art.
Manual activities courses: Chinese tie-dye, paper cutting, origami, pottery, silk flowers making, traditional Chinese knotting, sand painting, wood engraving.
Performing courses: choir, ethnic minority dances, drum, theater study, Guzheng (traditional string instrument), ocarina, robot performance.
Cookery courses: Chinese dumplings, Tangyuan (glutinous rice flour dumplings served in soup), stir-fried dishes cooking.
Physical activities: ping pong, Kung Fu, football, basket, badminton, tennis, Tai Qi, Tae Kwon Do, Karate.
Other activities: outdoor activities (environmental protection), visit to historic sites, barbequing,
Ceremonies: Welcome ceremony (singing and dancing), flag-raising ceremony, forum and informal discussion, talents performances.
After the arrival in China, you will be escorted to the Hotel for the check in
In the morning, visit Beijing School for Peking Opera experience. After lunch, during the afternoon you will visit the National Museum, The Temple of Heaven and Hongqiao Market where you will find many Chinese typical souvenirs.
Continue the tour around Beijing. Today you will visit the Great Wall at the important Juyong Pass, then back to the centre of the city for a tour in the iconic Tiananmen Square and finally from the square enter directly the Forbidden city, house of the Emperors.
On this day you will leave Beijing and take the Bullet Train to Zhengzhou, the old capital of China during the Shang Dynasty, part of its city wall was built over 3000 years ago and it is still preserved today. Zhengzhou is a city of rich cultural heritage. In the afternoon go on a tour on the Yellow River.

Activities with the families of the Chinese students met in the previous days, group activities during the weekend, visit at the People's Park (or souvenirs market, playgrounds, karaoke, shopping, daily life activities). Later, travel to Luoyang and transfer to the accommodation in Luoyang.
In the morning, visit the White horse temple, the first Buddhist temple in China, that was established in 68 AD under the Ming Emperor in Luoyang that used to be the capital of the Eastern Han Dynasty. The site is composed by many halls and courtyards in succession filled with important architectures and ancient relics. In the afternoon visit the famous Longmen Grottoes one of the finest examples of Buddhist art in China. The site boasts around 100,000 statues of Buddha and disciples carved both on the rock walls of Xiangshan and Longmenshan mountains and in over 2,000 caves. Later, transfer to the accommodation in SanmenXia (2-2.5hours) for 2 nights.
Visit the Guoguo Museum in the morning. Free afternoon at leisure.
In the morning transfer to Xian by train (1hour10Min). Visit the Ming City Wall surrounding the city centre, then the Grand Mosque and the lively Muslim quarter with the food market where it is possible to taste numerous typical appetizers. Transfer to the accommodation in Xian for 2 nights.
After breakfast, travel to the site of the Terracotta Warriors Army, one of the most important archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. The figures represent the army of Qin Shi Huang and they were entombed with the emperor to protect him in the afterlife. Admire the three huge pits with cavalry, soldiers and officials.
Travel on the Bullet train back to Beijing, and then to the airport to fly back.
