£5 return postage should be added where required.
The completed Visa Application Form should be accompanied by one passport sized photograph and your passport, which must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of your return journey.
There must be at least one totally blank page in your passport. Pages for endorsements or amendments can not be used as a visa page
Please note that the times quoted for visa processing only apply to passports received at our office by 1000 hrs on the day the passport is to be submitted. Passports received before 1000 hrs may normally be collected after 1500 hrs on the relevant day. (You will be informed if this is not possible)
We recommend that you apply for your visa in good time, ideally one month before departure. It is not possible to obtain a visa more that 3 months prior to the intended entry date.
Chinese Tourist Visas are valid for entry into China from all points specified by the Chinese Government. Duration of stay for a visa may vary. Single or double entry visas are normally valid for 90 days and you must enter China before the date specified on the visa. Extensions may be obtained from local police stations (Public Security Bureau) in most cities within China for a small fee. Multiple entry visas are normally valid for 6 months and are only issued for business visitors. Please note that your passport must be valid for a minimum of 9 months.
A special permit is required to enter Tibet which can only be obtained by pre-booking a fully-inclusive tour. Visitors to Tibet will still be required to obtain a Chinese visa.
The charges for processing business visas are the same as above and applicable to all nationalities.
Postal applications to us should allow 3 extra days for visa processing. Passports will be returned by Special Delivery and we recommend that they are sent to our office by the same means. Please note that Special Delivery guarantees delivery on the next working day by noon and requires a signature. It may be more convenient for you if we arrange to deliver it to your workplace rather than your home. Please advise us accordingly.
Please note that the issue of a Chinese Visa is subject to the consent of the Chinese Embassy. Therefore, in the unlikely event that your application is denied, CTS Horizons will not be held responsible. The Chinese Embassy is open 0900 - 1200 weekdays and is closed at weekends, as well as British and Chinese public holidays.
